Privacy Policy

PariBloom ("we," "our," the "App") is an offline communication app that helps nonverbal and minimally-verbal individuals express themselves using photo tiles and text-to-speech. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

PariBloom is designed to work fully offline. All profile information, photo tiles, category content, Caregiver Mode PIN, and Memories photos are created and stored only on your device — none of it is sent to PariNest or to any server we operate. There is no account, sign-up, or login of any kind.

Subscription purchases

If a caregiver subscribes to PariBloom Premium, the purchase is processed directly by Google Play (on Android) or the Apple App Store (on iPhone). PariNest does not receive or store your payment details. Google Play and Apple retain standard purchase/subscription records as the payment processors; see Google Play's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.

Camera and photo access

PariBloom requests camera and photo library access so a caregiver can add real photographs for the primary user's communication tiles. These photos are stored only in the app's private storage on your device.

Export/Backup

Caregiver Mode includes an optional Export/Import feature that creates a backup file of the app's content. This file is created locally; PariBloom does not upload it anywhere. If you choose to share that file (for example, via email or cloud storage), that sharing happens through your device's own share options and is outside PariNest's control.

Children's information

PariBloom is built for use by nonverbal and minimally-verbal individuals, which may include children, set up and operated by a caregiver. Because the app works entirely offline with no account and no data transmission, PariNest does not collect personal information from any user of the app, adult or child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), given the app is fully offline with no data transmission.

Security

Your Caregiver Mode PIN is stored using your device's secure storage (the Android Keystore or the iOS Keychain), never in plain text. Because your data stays on your device, its security also depends on your device's own security (screen lock, OS updates, etc.).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email before taking effect.
